Privacy Policy

Wrangle provides software to mortgage loan officers and brokerages. Your loan officer opens your loan file on our platform; you then use your secure loan file portal to upload documents and track your loan file.

• Contact and identity information — your name, email address, mobile phone number, and mailing address, provided by you or by your loan officer when your loan file is created.
• Loan file documents — documents you or your loan officer add to your loan file (for example W-2s, pay stubs, bank statements, identification documents, and insurance declarations).
• Information extracted from your documents. To complete your loan file, we process your documents and extract the information they contain into structured form. Depending on the documents, this includes sensitive information such as Social Security number (we store only a one-way hash and the last four digits, never the full number in plain text), date of birth, driver’s license number, employer and income details, and financial account information (institution, masked account number, balances).
• Communications — messages exchanged with Lasso and your loan officer through the platform, including text messages if you opt in.
• Usage information — technical data (device, browser, log data) and product analytics about how the platform is used.

• To operate your loan file: collect and verify required documents, provide status updates, and coordinate with your loan officer.
• To send you communications you have opted into, including text messages from Lasso about your loan file.
• To operate, secure, and improve the platform.

We do not use your information to market loans or other financial products to you, and we do not sell your personal information.

If you opt in — through your loan file portal or through your loan officer — Lasso sends you text messages about your loan file: document requests, status updates, and closing logistics.

• We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your mobile number, SMS consent, or opt-in data with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties.
• Message frequency varies with your loan file’s activity. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Opting out does not affect your loan application.

• Your loan officer and their brokerage — the parties working on your loan file, including delivery of your loan file package to systems your loan officer directs (for example, their document storage).
• Service providers that process data on our behalf, bound to use it only to provide their service to us:
  • infrastructure and data hosting;
  • email delivery;
  • document processing (OCR) to read the documents on your file;
  • AI services that help extract, classify, and draft communications about your documents;
  • product analytics that help us understand and improve how the platform is used.
• Legal requirements — if required by law or valid legal process.

We do not sell your personal information, and no third party receives it for their own marketing use.

We retain loan file information while your loan file remains on the platform and as required to meet legal obligations; loan files are removed on deletion request. We protect your information with technical and organizational safeguards, including hashed storage of Social Security numbers, per-file access controls, and encrypted transport.

Opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. For access, correction, or deletion requests, or any privacy question, contact us at richard@trywrangle.ai. California and other state residents may have additional rights under applicable law; contact us to exercise them.

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
